If you find yourself on the "mysite.com/config/splashes/noNodes.aspx" file despite having published content or just need to republish your site, you can quickly republish the entire hierarchy by using the umbraco republish dialog. Simply go to the following URL to do this:
http://MyWebsite.com/Umbraco/dialogs/republish.aspx?xml=true
