Insert image from media library problem - No media picker, Outdated TinyMCE interface

If you have just upgraded your version of Umbraco and have noticed that you no longer have the "insert from media library" option when inserting an image into a post, read on:

If your "Rich Text Editor" or TinyMCE interface looks like the image below when trying to insert an image:

Instead of this image:

Then follow the instructions below to get it resolved.

Resolution:

1. Download a fresh copy of your version of Umbraco from Codeplex
2. Navigate to the following directory in your website: *root*/config/
3. Backup everything in the above directory
4. Navigate to the *root*/config/ directory in your freshly downloaded copy of Umbraco
5. Overwrite the following files in your websites /config/ directory with the files in the freshly downloaded copy of Umbraco:

• scripting.config
• tinyMceConfig.config
• xsltExtensions.config

After completing these steps, compare the new config files with your old ones and make sure you copy over any custom settings you may have made.
