Accrued Paid Leave summary (97)
Answer

This is a report which gives the accumulated paid leave for every employee with accumulated paid leave. Paid leave is generated for each shift worked and then processed in payroll. The rate is determined by the payroll setup. If an employee has a "substantive post" (i.e. they work for the company full time and this shift is overtime for them) then the leave payment is consolidated into the payment for that shift. If they are been paid as temporary staff, in line with the EU ruling on this matter, then the leave must be explicitly paid for on a non worked day.

When paid leave is taken in subsequent payroll runs, then the corresponding amount is removed from the total accumulated or accrued paid leave.

It there is an agreement whereby leave must be taken or claimed within a stipulated period of by a stipulated date, then the amount shown excludes any forfeited amounts.
