The software makes use of an outlook style events journal
enabling users to quickly see what events are occuring over the
next week, month or even year. Each user also has access to their
own individual journal where they can see the events they are
working at, as well as other options of events to work at. The
journal can also repeat events, for example if a bus driver is
required every Sunday morning for a year, this event can be
repeated, rather than being re-entered several times.
Events can also be specifically linked to individual staff
members or specific locations; there is also the option to
create events for any member of staff, a group of staff or all
staff, and this generally depends on the staffing requirements.
