Searching
Multiple searches can be carried out on the system; you can
search for staff, departments, clients or locations. There are
several various ways of searching the system; one way is through
exact entry, where matches are based on a single character. Any
individual field can be searched from name to reference number. The
default set on the system is to search active entries first,
however inactive and do not use records can still be searched. This
is done by simply ticking a box.
Another search method is through the extended matches, where the
system automatically completes the word to match entries already in
the system. A further, particularly useful search option is through
phonetic match, which enables the system to search for both soft
and hard pronunciation, this means that even if a word is not spelt
as it sounds, there is still a chance the system will find the
correct entry. Matches are returned in under a second.

You have the option of immediate switching between locations and
departments at the touch of a single button; this is very useful if
a client is linked to more than one location.
New entries are checked against existing ones to avoid double
entry. Another option is that users can carry out shift searches
against a unique booking reference, customer reference or
invoice number, meaning there are a large variety of search options
available.
Filtering
Filtering is useful for meeting each client's need. For example,
a client may call up asking for 20 secretarial staff and through
filtering by skill sets and selecting the required skill as
secretarial, these staff can be quickly found, reducing the
client's waiting time significantly.

In terms of shift preferences, filtering can be used to look at
the dates and times each staff member has requested to work and
their preferred location of work and thus they can be supplied to a
suitable client, based on their requirements and the requirement of
the client. Information can also be automatically remembered, to
save having to go through the selection process all over again, if
a client asks for the same staff the next time round.
When a specific booking is selected, the employee's page will
open in a new page so that both windows can be viewed at the same
time. The software enables sorting to be used to sort employees
into order of preference or likewise. Grouping can also be used to
group employees into particular groups such as preferred
location.
