This is no longer an active page. If you have navigated here from an external site, it is probably because you have an interest in Gliding. CGC stands for Chiltern's Gliding Club and it is now the home of the RAFGSA (Royal Air Force Gliding and Soaring Association). When Chilterns was a small but active provincial gliding club: I hosted their web pages for a while. I was the DCFI under both Terry Akerman and Luke Hornsey and positively contributed toy one of the best safety records of any Gliding Club. This was in part because we had a highly active flying community. During the period when I was privileged to be a member, the RAF GSA 'Centre' decamped from then RAF Bicester (now an active Gliding club in its own right) to RAF Halton. However after very many enjoyable years I decided that it was finally time for change and bade farewell.
